I find it very difficult to believe that you know that this occurred but have not heard anything more about the substance of the show. (That you don’t know the book is less difficult to believe.) I suspect you knew exactly why people find the party tone deaf and wonder what you get out of pretending that you don’t know or think it’s not a big deal.
