Recommend your straw cup for milk

Anonymous
My kids 3 and 6, both love warm milk. I microwave the milk and put in in a straw cup. Suggest your favorite straw cup that doesn’t leak and isn’t imposssible to clean ( ie doesn’t have 100 parts). They like the drink milk upstairs, downstairs etc so not leaking is key.

Does not need to be microwave safe but does need to be dishwasher safe. Thx

Thermos Triton?

I dunno, it’s tricky because I wouldn’t drink warm things from plastic.

Maybe stainless steel? But it does get hot; you must use the sleeve.

We do mugs with a straw and they sit at the table.

Zoli or B-box. My 20 month old DD loves them both!

Terrible habit, OP. Sorry to be mean, but they should get used to drinking from a real cup at that age, and drinking at the table, or in the kitchen, not everywhere in the house.

And no plastics. Wood or glass. You can reheat your milk and they can drink from a nice thick-walled mug without hormone disruptors. BPA is not the only culprit, but the only well-known one, and therefore the only one that manufacturers avoid.

Yuck. Drink the milk cold and sitting at a damn table.

OP here. I'm not sure what is so yuck about drinking warm milk. In almost every culture except here, warm milk is the norm for milk. So thanks for your judgement but please take it elsewhere.

For other posters, thanks. I might look at stainless steel. I see some made by thermos that look promising.

Thanks. Agree about plastic which is why i'm on the search. They only drink milk out of a straw cup. It doesn't bother me. I'm glad they drink it. Thx

I wouldn't warm it and then put in plastic. We like these. They're more like regular straw cups but don't spill.

I and my dd love warm milk. For me it stems from growing up near a farm where I got milk still warm from a cow .
When we ditched bottles I just put it into a ceramic mug, her it up and she drinks it using a reusable straw. If we are snuggling in bed then I hold the cup. She drinks some with the straw and some with the open cup (3 years old but we have done this since about 15 months).
No cups of anything except water and this one cup of am milk allowed outside the kitchen.

I don't let my kids drink milk anywhere but the kitchen table. Even little droplets of milk stink and still fly everywhere.

But if you must, a stainless steel contigo would be best. Don't microwave plastic and use as little plastic as possible for warm liquids.

You can put these on any cup. We love them.

We ordered a bunch of different straw cups and we like this one the best.

And the straw cup is made out of...?

Plastic. So no straw cup.
And do yourself a favor, no straws either, they're too difficult to wash.
At 3 and 6, they're too old for baby things.

Oh c'mon, straws aren't baby things. I use a straw yeti cup for my water daily. Relax.
