Is positive feedback from Aidan the norm or not?

Anonymous
We received very positive feedback during our child's interview from the woman who interviewed us. Wondering if this is the norm for Aidan or if we can dare to take it as a good sign.

Just over-thinking here as mid-March approaches... Thanks in advance for any feedback!

i thought we had a very positive interview too...so maybe that is the norm. maybe all our kids will get in!

OP here.

This is my concern. I recognize how competitive it is, but it was hard not to feel hopeful...

how competitive is it actually? i left the open house early and didn't really hear the admissions discussion.

we applied for primary.

We got very positive feedback as well. I imagine they are not going to give you negative feedback in the interview, rather they just won't accept your application for admission. Good luck and still keeping fingers crossed!

funny that the posts about aidan are either about positive feedback at the interviews or being appalled at the interview. quite a divide.

So some people do NOT get positive feedback?

We also got positive feedback. I'm still very skeptical about DD getting in, and dad is overly optimistic, (IMO).

So it sounds like a number of us received very positive feedback, but - when I did a search and read an old Aidan thread - apparently some people had really negative experiences as well.

The woman with whom we interviewed, Ms. Antonucci, didn't seem like the type who would blow smoke up anyone's ass. If anything, she was on the reserved, non-effusive side in terms of general temperment.

So perhaps there is a split in terms of her being positive with those who seem like a good fit and not particularly, ummm, gentle with those who do not?

I would love to hear from anyone who went through this last year and whether or not good feedback led to an admit versus a negative experience leading to a non-admit.

I mean, I know we'll all find out soon, but it's hard not to want to hyper-analyze in the meanwhile...
