Women's Shoes: What brand or type of shoe to wear that is not a sneaker, flat, not high heel?

Anonymous
Could you post a link for brand of shoe or type of shoe, if you feel like it?

I SAH, and usually wear sneakers. Lately I've been doing more "dressy" things, but not dressy enough for heels and flats. TIA!

flats aren't really all that dressy. not sure what you're looking for. but perhaps a wedge style heel would do.

Most flats these days are really casual. I wear ballet-style flats with jeans almost every day, until it gets so cold that I need socks, when I switch to boots.

Not clogs, I hope.

I would also go for flats. Tory Burch is the standard these days if you want to be trendy and spend a lot. I have some Anne Klein moccasin type flats in fun colors that are really comfortable. Check out zappos.com and you can do a pretty detailed search for ballet flats. Target has some cute flats too right now, for about $12 a pair they are great.

Flats don't give my feet enough support. In cold weather I wear clogs or boots, with bootleg pants.

Franco Sarto makes some nice loafers that aren't too dressy or casual.

Flats, trainers, or something with a very low heel.

Check out the shoes at Catch Can (on Conn at Livingston); they have lots of great alternatives to sneakers -- cute shoes that are good for walking and chasing after little ones. They're having a big store-wide sale next Thursday.
