Anyone else loving the VRE during the metro shutdown?

I might switch permanently, even though it’s about $60/month extra and a longer walk to the station.

I love it until the already tight VRE schedule is delayed by 40 minutes for reasons they won't explain. It's not as reliable as it used to be.

My husband won’t go back to Metro after doing VRE now for years.

This. Not so bad in the morning, but my evening commute needs to be reliable so that I can pick up my kids.

I made the switch to VRE a few years ago. It's so much more comfortable...BUT, the reliability has gone down this past year. Lots of delays.

+1

They send out emails with the explanations for delays... The problem is knowing that the delay is caused by equipment failures still doesn't help me get to aftercare on time.

This. For three years I loved my VRE commute. But the past couple of months have been a disaster, leaving me contemplating quitting either VRE or my job.
