Blood work with RE - help interpreting?

Anonymous
Can anybody help with my blood work results? I had HgA1C (hemoglobin A1C), a full thyroid panel, Beta-2-glycoprotein, anticardiolipin and lupus anticoagulant antibodies tested. Is this all within normal limits?

Results are the following:

AMH - 3.81

FSH - 6.1

HgA1C - 5.5

Vitamin D - 28.6

T4 - 1.51

TSH - 1.65

Thyroid perioxidase - 7

PRL - 11.5

Anticardiolipin Ab, IgM, Qn: 30

Beta-2-glycoprotein - <9

Lupus anticoagulant antibodies - PPT - 32.1

dRVVT - 26.7

How old are you? Your AMH number is high (i.e. could suggest a good ovarian reserve) unless you have pcos (which usually results in this number being higher than normal for a given age)

I have a similarly high AMH and my ob gyn also thought it might be PCOS. what are the classic symptoms of PCOS?

Op here - I am 35. No pcos that I know of.

Not sure about the other numbers but your AMH value seems very good. I tested at 39 and mine was 0.8. Did not even ask my RE about my results at the time as I did not want to be discouraged by numbers.

They look good. The other number I'd be interested in would be antral follicle count - they do that via ultrasound at the beginning of your cycle. That number can be very suggestive of how many eggs you're likely to get in IVF.

Amh, fsh look good.
Some of the numbers look not as normal. Are you having miscarriages? These things are treatable.

CARDIOLIPIN AB (IGM) <12
<=12 MPL
Cardiolipin Ab (IgM) Reference Range:

Value Interpretation
----------- ----------------
< or = 12 Negative
13 - 20 Indeterminate
21 - 80 Low to Medium Positive
> 80 High Positive Show Less

Lupus anticoagulant is not normal.

Again these are very treatable and the numbers for Fertility

Op here - yes I am having miscarriages but have had two healthy pregnancies as well at 31 and 32 years old.

Re said she was only somewhat concerned with my vitamin d level and with my IgM level. She said the IgM level was low to medium and I can get it tested again in 3 months to see what it is at.

Should I mention the lupus anticoagulant level? What is the treatment for that?

So sorry, I'm the last three posts. Lupus is normal. I misread it. Vitamin d just involves a supplement. I believe that IgM is not that high. You should be fine

Weird re Vitamin D because I asked my RE to test and they said they tested it and did not comment, and recently I’ve been tested again and it was low (13 or something). Not sure what causation/correlation there is between Vit D and infertility.
Anonymous
Not all res test it. If you are concerned take a supplement.
