My current 4th grader has done well in Math 4/5 but for the first time I am a little worried about "summer slide," as my understanding is that they will pick right back up where they left off this fall. Traditionally, I haven't worried too much, as I figure a summer of reading and various stimulating summer camps is enough.
What tools/books/programs would you suggest if my goal is to just make sure he doesn't lose what he has over the summer, rather than trying to accelerate? |

| Go to amazon and search “fifth grade math workbook.” Buy one that looks good and have your kid do like 5-10 pages a week. |
+1 Just have DC "play" around with 4th & 5th grade content ~ 20 min per day. They get a surprising amount done. |
