I spoke with someone who said they drive at least 60 minutes total (in traffic) to deliver their kid to practice every session.
How much time are you spending getting kids to practice? |

| We drive 40 min each way and pay a shitload in tolls. Thankfully, no traffic. If we chose something closer the commute was still the same, but it was bumper-to-bumper traffic and a headache. Totally depends on routes/roads/direction in this area. |

| For the younger one, his fall and spring practice site is about 10 minutes away 3x a week and for winter about 30. The older one drives, thankfully, as his practice is about 45 minutes in rush hour to practice 4x a week, but more like 20 on the way home. |

We are 60 minutes there and 30 minutes home 3x a week. We spend more time in the car than we do on the soccer field.
Changing next year to 10 minutes there and 10 minutes back. |

Traffic time is a bit crazy around here. So always good to take it into account.
Been several years ago now -- when my daughter played on a team (pre ECNL days) that had national championship goals. Kids came from over 2 hours away to practices. Just nuts really. Three times a week: Get into the car after school. Drive 2 plus hours to practice. Practice 90-120. Drive 2 plus hours home. |

| 30 minutes to practice, but I have a carpool so only do it 1/3 of practices and that includes picking up the other 2 boys. Home games, 20 minutes, away 30 minutes to an hour. Though we had a state cup game in VA Beach! That sucked. |

| Practice is 5 minutes away, 3 days a week. Don't feel bad for me though. We do a carpool with another kid in the neighborhood so I only have to take them once or twice a week. |

| Less than 5 minutes. 3 times per week per kid, but we are at field 5 nights a week with 3 kids at that field. I couldn't do these commutes. Insanity. |

| Practice is 20-30 minutes away each way. We play for Alexandria and live in Alexandria, but got assigned a field on the other side of town so it is a pain. |
