Less motorcycles

My young sons think motorcycles are cool - thing is it is like they are unicorns now.
I feel like 15 years ago there were a lot more on the roads.

I think I will see a race looking/sport type maybe once a month? Those seem to have really died out.

Have motorcycles gone out of style?

People are more safety conscious. The number of kids playing tackle football is dropping precipitously, too.

In one of my physicals, my doctor asked if I rode a motorcycle. He morbidly joked that "You know what we call motorcycles on the highway? 'Donorcycles.' And usually we're lucky if we can find a usable organ after an accident."

Motorcycles are expensive and younger generations don't have enough money to buy one after they make their car payment.

They are so stupid. Can’t protect you from weather or an accident.

I was just back in my hometown in NW Indiana and saw a ton there. It may be that with all the traffic in this area, it isn't fun to ride.

Fewer. FFS.

People in the DMV are terrible, aggressive drivers who really should not be allowed to drive near bicycles, pedestrians or motorcycles.

You see less motorcycles in this area because most riders are older now and have either been hit by a bad driver or killed by one.

Too bad, motorcycles are way better for the environment and urban planning.

x100. I think this should be in the DCUM FAQ.
