Jeep wrangler unlimited

I am looking to buy a used jeep wrangler unlimited (2017+). My previous cars have lasted for 10+ years.
I know its a fun ride but am trying to see from a maintenance perspective if it makes sense ... Thoughts ???

There is a huge difference between the JK and the JL. I would not buy a JK. In 2018 they made both the JK and JL's. They still have some 18's so you might be able to get a good deal on one if you shop hard enough. There are some jeep JL forum's that are really helpful with pricing. Maintenance is hit or miss. There are also huge safety differences with the JL including cameras.

OP here ... thank you ... curious about what is the issue with JK trim ?

Its the older model. Doesn't drive as well nor as comfortable. Go on the Jeep Facebook groups and forums and they will tell you there is a huge difference between the two. JL also can come with a lot more safety and other features. Its not a trim, its a model. They stopped making the JK in 2018 and did a full redesign in 2018 to the JL.
