Best place to get gift cards

I need gift cards for a party Sunday. Any tips? Is my best bet to buy the generic Visa card that costs $6 or so?

Some kids are getting gift cards who helped and I doubt they're old enough to have Amazon accts. Thanks for the advice. I didn't know about the Amazon/Giant connection.

Their parents will have an Amazon account that they can use.

our tween daughter has a kid Amazon account. She can plug stuff in, and we have to approve it before she buys it.

Or you can buy bulk packs of gift cards to a lot of places at Costco, and they are discounted. Neighborhood specific though - you want to buy cards for places the kids can actually use.
