I was cleaning and found 5 pairs of used soccer cleats, in size 5 to 8 youth. My kids are now in size 9. We usually donate to Goodwill. I'm wondering if there is a better option. Any suggestions?
Sell at consignment sales or stores or give to the coaches to give away.
Our clubs sponsors a cleat swap/donation around the fall time. You should ask your club if they have a charity that they donate the cleats too. If I recall US Soccer has a program to donate used equipment too also. We have younger siblings that all play so we have been stockpiling some of our cleats in better condition. I sometimes swap with family members in that at the younger ages they can outgrow them quickly.

Stoddert does a cleat exchange every season - even if you aren't in Stoddert I'm sure they'd accept them.
We donate. One of our coaches takes them back to West Africa and distributes cleats and kits to kids there.
I used to give them away to neighbors or Goodwill. Now my 13yo's cleats smell so bad I think they need to be disposed of like any biohazard.
In my neighborhood people often post for free on our local FB site for someone to come pick up.
