Having birthday at dance studio (not where we take dance - just found them as offering birthday parties). 12 kids and one teacher and a party assistant. Kids will learn a dance, perform, and then have cake and juice. Do I tip the instructor and assistant after the party? How much?
Party is the “standard” around here at 350. |
$20 each is about 10%? |
$20 each |
At 5:30, you need to offer pizza, sandwiches or real food. I'd be pissed if you gave my kid cake at that hour and I had to pick them up and immediately feed them. |
OP does not say what time the party is, but based on my experience with similar venues it’s very unlikely to be at 5:30pm. |
Would you all do pizza for a 10:30-11:30 party? |
pp..sorry 10-11:30 |
$20 each |
yes. Food no matter the time. Even just one slice. |
The party is 2:00 -3:30. I was specifically avoiding pizza since that is annoying. It is too late to be lunch and too early to be dinner. Maybe some cut fruit.
But back to the question at hand - seems like the teacher and assistant will be expecting a tip? Is that the general consensus. |
How old are the kids? 2-3:30 is nap time for my preschooler. |
I have no idea why people are feeling the need to weigh in on your party plans, but yes, a tip would be appropriate. I'd do $20 a piece. And cake and fruit at 3:00 is fine. |
Did you read 350 as 5:30? That was the cost of the party because OP is asking about tipping, not the time. |
So, you would rsvp no...but, since you’re not even invited—who cares? |
They are 5. Almost none of them nap. And all of them can rally without a nap, if needed.
But yes. 350 was the price and included it because i asked about tipping. |
