Snap-n-go and airline security

We are planning on gate-checking the stroller frame and taking the infant seat with us on the plane. How exactly does this work when you go through security? I assume we just carry the baby with us through security and the infant seat fits in the x-ray machine. But does the stroller frame go through the x-ray machine? It doesn't seem like it would fit, but since I have seen numerous posts of people gate-checking their stroller frame, it must make it through security somehow.

yup - snap 'n go fits through security, at least it did at every airport I took it to - if it doesn't for some reason they will just hand check it.

And the stroller goes into the x-ray machine upside down. (Just warning the cover can get a bit dirty from that.)
