OP here--thanks for the suggestions so far. Will have to check out Marvel cartoons, and more Miyazaki movies (we've watched a few). A couple of questions:
For the 80s movies like ET and Short Circuit--have people found that their kids actually got into those, if they viewed them more recently? As for Marvel movies, do folks have any specific recs? We've watched most of them (and I used to read the comics myself), but I'm having trouble thinking of which might be good "starter" Marvel movies for younger kids, i.e., without too much violence and language. I know I can look on Common Sense, but any recs would also be appreciated. |
