What’s easiest baby carrier/wrap for infant stage?
I like the ring sling. Super easy and I felt like it gave good support to me and my baby. I couldn’t get the hang of the moby.
I loved the ktan. Especially in the mean for summer.
Stretchy wrap or maya wrap (sling).
I had the ktan, solly, and ergo and preferred the ktan by a lot, in summer/fall. I used it almost exclusively until baby was 6+ months at which point started using the ergo some. |
For me it was the Lillebaby complete. I couldn't for the life of me figure out the Ktan, even though I wanted to love it. Maybe I got the wrong size?
Please look up Sakura Bloom. They have a carrier called the scout and it is absolutely amazing and easy to use.
Ergobaby 360.
Kinderpack Infant, by a mile.
Tula.
Nesting Days! You step in then tie the two wings together. So easy and so comfortable.

I guess it depends on what you find easy. We have a Lillebaby and a Solly wrap. I hate the Lillebaby. It feels like I’m putting on bulletproof vest—way too thick and too many buckles and I feel self-conscious wearing such a big contraption. (My husband doesn’t mind wearing it but doesn’t find it super comfortable.)
I absolutely love my Solly wrap but even after using it daily for a year my husband’s eyes still cross watching me tie it and I have several friends who can’t wrap their mind around a wrap. I watched the How To video twice and had it down pat by the second time I wore my dd. I like that it’s thin and smooth and doesn’t feel hot in the summer and can easily be worn under a fleece or coat in colder weather. |
Ktan is easiest for the tiny tiny infant stage, but of no use beyond 5-6 months (depending on how big your baby is). I really like the Ergo 360 - it's not quite as easy as the Ktan, but it's not hard to use with the infant insert, and you can keep using it way longer (I still put my 2 year old in it!).

I have ergo 360, is it too hot & too early (no strong head support) for 3 months old at this stage? Should I get a wrap as well?

this was years ago, but the baby bjorn was the only thing that correctly supported my small newborn. maybe not the easiest to put on, but easiest to actually wear with confidence.
