Going somewhere sunny would like a spray tan where to go?

Never done this before. Recommendations on where to go. I live in Bethesda area. Thanks!

While a spray tan is fast and great, it immediately comes off once in the water due to salt water or chlorine. It is also expensive.

I love the Bare Escentuals self-tanner. Smells like almonds. Get it with the body brush that applies it fast, even and without streaks. At least when you go in the water, you can reapply quickly and cheaply. It is also tinted.

OMG, I was going to recommend Bare Minerals/ Bare Escentuals self-tanner. I rarely rave about a product, but I have recommended this to my family and friends like crazy! I've never had a self-tanner that works as well and simply as this one. It comes with a squatty, broad brush, and it goes on dark and without streaks (you do have to act fast...) You are immediately dark. If you put on another coat, you are Caribbean dark. It's not fake looking, at ALL And it's the only one I've ever used that doesn't have that awful chemical smell on your skin. It's $50 for a huge liter bottle, but I've had mine since May and just ran out last week. Once you start using it, and see how easy it is to look effortlessly tan (really pretty tan) you'll use it year-round!

I'm 13:28 poster. You are so right 15:53! It is just amazing stuff - and I've used every brand out there.

OP, you definitely need the brush. Keeps the stuff off of your hands and makes the application absolutely streak-free. You might have to do some searching for it as it was a special limited product. I can't believe that they wouldn't bring it back. I think it was a QVC special and not in the stores. I did buy a second brush on Ebay when QVC ran out.

OP, go to Casa Del Sol (solar planet) on Montgomery Ave, near Wisconsin Ave in the Air RIghts building. If you go before 11 am on a weekday they have an early bird special where it's only $15 for one Mystic session (about half of what you would pay anywhere else). It's great. It doesn't come right off. It lasts just short of a week for me with regular showering.

OP, spray tans do stay on - unless you plan on going into the pool or ocean. It's the salt and chlorine that takes off the color, not the shower. If your vacation includes swimming, best to buy the self-tanner and take it with you. You'll need to apply daily after going in the water.

I would think after the first day or two, you wouldn't need it, since you'd have developed your own real tan by then.

Depends upon whether OP is looking to damage her skin or load up on sunblock. Hopefully, the latter!
