Physique 57 videos worth it or not?

I really would like to find a barre class- I so wish the NYC one would come down here! How are the videos? Anyone had luck? Do you stick with them?? Thanks!

I know someone who teaches barre classes at Soma Fit in Glover/Upper Georgetown. It looks like they have these classes a few times a week. I don't have any idea about the videos, but you were asking about barre classes.

I haven't taken her classes, mostly because they are at a really inconvenient time for me. (I'm a 5:30am boot camp girl.) If you can judge anything by looks, I say try this class. She is in her 50s and looks amazing. She is tall and lithe. I'm sure some of it is her genetics, but I'm sure at least part is due to teaching barre classes.

I have the Physique 57 tapes and think they are totally worth it. I LOVE the workouts, though I haven't done them enough to tell you if they work.

Have you taken any classes anywhere? Or did you grow up doing ballet? Seems like such a great way to workout- very strengthening.
