Does anybody know how much IUI costs are if you are paying out of pocket? My insurance does not cover any infertility treatments (awesome!) but I can't seem to find the information online.
Thanks! |
| Their billing department should be able to tell you what the OOP for self-pay patients are. Drugs should be in the range of $30 for clomid and $110 for Ovidrel. My insurance didn't cover fertility treatments either, but there was some coverage for the monitoring (sonos and bloodwork). I ended up paying around $800 per IUI at a different clinic, taking into account the IUI itself, drugs and copays. |

They offer two options.
The global fee when I did it was 1800 an attempt. That included all bloodwork, all ultrasounds, and follow up testing if successful (but once you hit 6 weeks then it billed to insurance I think as viable pregnant). It did not include drugs. They had an a la cartel option where you pay for each thing - if you end up only needing a few blood draws / ultrasound s to get timing right, you would pay less but if your protocol was longer or they had trouble narrowing the window for trigger so wanted you to be seen more, you could end up paying more than the global fee. |
