Has anyone done it? My salon charges $450 for it, but claims it lasts close to 5 months- curious if anyone else has tried it.
Yep--just got my 3rd one last month. I think I paid $400 before tip. 5 months sounds about right. If you color your hair, keep in mind that the Cezanne RUINS it (mine turns a horrific shade of orange) and it takes a couple of hair colors after that to get it back to where you want it....
I’ve gotten keratin treatments at the start of summer for years. I decided to try the Cezanne last year and felt that it was a big waste of money for my thick, wavy, frizz prone hair. I followed the care instructions exactly, like I always do, but after the first wash there was definitely frizz. I couldn’t tell that I had had any treatment at all within a month.
Yep, same here honestly |
I’m reviving this old thread…anyone else had this hair treatment? Is it comparable to Brazilian blowout or Coppola keratin treatments? Thanks for sharing your experiences!
Cezanne not the same and turned my brown hair orange. Hair is not shiny or as smooth with Brazilian. However, Brazilian also has dangerous chemicals.
Also turned my hair color and didn’t last that long. Was better than nothing though.
It's better for dark hair and yes it will last.
Came on here to see if anyone had the same issue I had. I got the Cezanne treatment yesterday. I have blonde hair and it’s bleached (had it done over three weeks ago). The stylist knew I colored it and didn’t think it was an issue, even if though she told me that I have very thin, damaged hair. It’s naturally curly, but I always dry it straight. After the Cezanne treatment, I came home and looked in the mirror and was horrified. My whole head of hair was gray/white. Can’t believe they didn’t notice or say anything. I immediately texted the stylist who said she would drop off clarifying shampoo and conditioner to get back to my normal color. I washed with the special shampoo, and most of the color came back with just a little white in the front. My hair is now very dry, and I’m sure that it’s from the clarifying shampoo. And I’m sure all of the treatment product got washed out. I’m very upset, and what a huge waste of money. I’ve had many regular keratin treatments and always with great results. I thought I’d try Cezanne, because it’s healthier and you can wash your hair right away. I DO NOT recommend!
I just had the Cezanne Treatment on Saturday and it is now Tuesday. It ruined my hair color and I don't think it did anything for the frizz on my fine curly hair. Huge waste of money. When I left the salon it looked horrible and I have to say my hair was better before. I could have purchased a great outfit with accessories for the price I paid. Don't do it.
