I’m the Blue Lizard poster and Cerave broke my skin out, gave me a rash, and itched like crazy. I use Cerave PM moisturizer, but can’t use the AM version with sunscreen.

OP - you really need to try different types to find one that works with your/your child’s skin.

Which is so expensive!

I've also landed on Blue Lizard after trying so many different types. My DS has pretty sensitive skin, so I'm going to try to use this exclusively on him this summer. Last summer I tried a bunch of different stuff and his skin freaked out quite a bit.

They changed their formulation a couple years ago and now Think Baby and Think Sport cause my child's eczema to flare up quite severely.

We've had good luck with Vanicream (although they no no longer sell SPF50) and Neutrogena Baby (I think it's called "pure" and is mineral only).

I use Vanicream and Blue Lizard. Also buy Vanicream from Amazon.

We use Blue Lizard. It’s expensive but I find the bottle lasts a lot longer than regular sunscreen.

My DD and I BOTH have eczema and super sensitive skin. I'm a big fan of sun protective hats and other 'cover-ups' over chemical sunscreen.

Athleta, Coolibar, Lily Pulitzer and Lands End have lots of options.

It really isn’t expensive to try different sunscreens! Target, Sephora, dermatore, Nordstrom: they all have great return policies. I couldn’t find a sunscreen that didn’t make my skin feel like it was going to burn off but after I went on a fierce sunscreen hunt I found two: Tatcha (major splurge but it’s lovely) and Cerave ultra/light moisturizer with spf of 30. Avene anti-rouges also works for me but it’s so expensive. I tried out hundreds of dollars worth of sunscreens without actually spending hundreds of dollars.
