HELP! Sweet 16 gift

| DD has been invited to her friend's Sweet 16 party, and I have no idea what might be appropriate as a gift (DD isn't 16 yet). DD is going to come up with some ideas, but just curious what might be appropriate/typical. |

My DD went to a sweet 16 part last weekend.
Her friend received perfume, body lotion, shirt etc. I'd say the average gift was between 20-30 dollars if that helps. |

DD gives something like this. She gave initial earrings to one friend. But generally a necklace or other jewelry. |
