Prosecutors recommended four months of jail time for Felicity Huffman, plus a $20,000 fine and a year of supervised release.
This is fine. She's getting her jail time in and a record. https://www.nytimes.com/2019/05/13/us/felicity-huffman-guilty-college-admissions-scandal.html |
Its a waste of resources to put her in jail. |
This seems fair. She admitted her mistakes. A short sentence is good for justice. She needs to serve some time. |
So dumb. Give her community service and be done with the. |
She hasn't been sentenced, yet. That's just what the prosecutor is recommending.
Couldn't the judge impose a lighter or even a suspended sentence? |
Fair. I think we need to show that white collar crime doesn’t pay |
Yes. Or longer. |
I agree. I think she should serve some time for what she did. Loughlin must be shaking in her boots right about now. |
Loughlin appears to believe she can beat this if she goes in front of a jury. Not if I’m on the jury! |
I wouldn't put it past her to try and buy the jurors. |
The judge would be stupid to impose a sentence lighter than what the federal prosecutor is recommending. That's not how it works usually. But still Brock Turner only got six months in jail for rape when the state prosecutor recommended six years so anything could happen. |
Jury tampering can get you an additional four years in prison. She's already looking at 20. |
She seems to be a risk taker. What's 4 more years? |
“Prison” for her will be a half way house where she gets to go home at night and on the weekends - with an ankle brace |
She needs to pay way more in fines! Hit them where it hurts. And why is her spouse not accused of anything? |
