Other than Consumer Reports, what site has reliable car reviews?

Replacing my beloved Camry with something better for my 6'3 teens. Any source besides CR for unbiased reviews?

Following. If you don't use a site, what kind of research do you find useful before buying a car?

Not for you. But for others reading.

Cars.com has a really great video series on car seat fit. So thorough and helpful when we wanted to know about 3-across and how a variety of combinations would work.

I like Edmunds. Kelly blue book also good but I use Edmunds to compare cars in a given segment and provide all the specs. FWIW I dont always agree with their rankings because they may have different priorities than me (for ex good tech packages count in a score when I dont even want a navigation system in a car) but their reviews provide enough detail to make your own ranking.

PP here - Edmunds have old car specs too - so if you are interested in things like back seat legroom, you can compare your current car with new ones to know what you are adding. I just did the same thing - wanted a new car not much bigger than current one but with more leg room in back and less trunk space.

YouTube. Because for every car you can imagine there is tons of different reviews and the people who do them often have nothing to do with the brand. Some do, those are wonderful to learn about car and features, but for honest reviews look for private reviews and mostly negative ones as those will tell you what can be wrong. But remember, that every car out there can get a bad review so you need to kind of be smart and average out the reviews. Take off the best ones, and the worse ones and the most of the middle is what car is really like.

Atlas is gigantic inside and is so inexpensive. Stop by somewhere and take a look.
