Lunch place in Landover, Cheverly, Bladensburg area?

| A friend is staying in Annapolis and heading to College Park on Saturday and we want to meet for lunch. I am coming from Alexandria. She will be taking Route 50 to 410 and we thought we meet around there but neither of us have a clue where. Any suggestions? Thank you. |

the boulevard at the capital centre has a bunch of options that aren't exciting but would be fine for lunch.

As a PG County resident, my first reaction to this post was LOL! This area is not exactly known for its gastronomic delights.
I would avoid the Blvd at Cap Centre - I've never had anything good there...There is Fratelli's on 202, it's in an old HoJos. I haven't been there for a few years but it's decent Italian. Or you could eat at 94th Aero Squadron in College Park? |

Rhode Island Reds in Hyattsville is a nice sandwich shop. When my MIL comes to town and wants to go out somewhere for a snadwich we go there. It dosen't look like much from the outside, but they have great food.
