Gymnatsics.

DD, 6, is really enthusiastic and doing well. I am not sure how much to let her do wrt lessons. She would be happy three times a week or more. I let her do twice a week.
Any recommendations about the best instructors and programs in MC?

One of the best gyms in the country is Hill's in Gaithersburg. But at 6, I'd probably recommend trying out first at whichever gym is most convenient for you, because if you're commuting back and forth to the gym several times a week, you don't want to be going too far.

Other local gyms are Silver Stars in Silver Spring, Dynamite in Rockville, MarVaTeens in Rockville, Preston Gymnastics in Gaithersburg, Gymnastics of America in Gaithersburg. I'm sure that list is not exhaustive and there are other programs around.

How about in NoVA?

I would say limiting it a bit is a good idea. A colleague was a competitive gymnast and she regrets the damage to her body and the focus on gymnastics to the exclusion of so much else during her childhood. Twice a week seems like plenty at 6, you sound like a wise mom.

I'm not as familiar with NoVA, but Capital Gymnastics is very good.
