I don't think anyone has actually answered the other OP's question - so here's my more specific version (and one that I think will answer that OP's question too):
Is there a software that will: (a) Pull together all of my photos from several different devices (b) Sort my photos by date (c) Make it super easy to to step through them to (i) delete the ones I don't want quickly and (ii) tag the ones I do want to keep I'm not asking about online storage or a place that can make photo books, I have those covered, I'm talking about sorting, deleting, putting dates on, tagging, etc. |

Both Windows and Mac have their own pre-installed photo apps. What kind of computer/operating system do you have?
You don't even really need a specific program to do it. You can dump all of your pictures into a folder, sort by date, and look at the preview image to delete duplicates. I'm the person who commented on the other thread about Google Photos, and this method is what I use before I even get to the Google Photo stage. If you want something "prettier" with a better user interface then just use the preinstalled Windows or Apple apps. You can sort, tag, and delete them. Both systems automatically sort by date on the screen by default. They'll even use the geotagging of every picture to sort by location. |
| On the Mac the Photos App does all this and more (i.e. geo tags, facial recognition). |
