| Which teams benefit from the sudden changes to Metro United (née Washington Spirit VA) and FCV? Where do the players go? Which parents become completely unhinged? how many extra or fewer miles do people drive to get their 06s to practice? is it all a toll-road mastermind plot? where does the exploit-the-parents-for-$$$$$ game of musical chairs stop? does a dark horse come out of nowhere to displace the regional leaders in either the DA or ECNL standings sweepstakes next year? Place your lurker looky loo bets here! Out-of-state schadenfreude commentary extremely welcome. |
| Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the emails that are missing |
| Was geht? |
| I hate commuting. Period. Will look at other options if practices move out Evergreen. |
I don't see how practices don't move eventually. You don't buy a club and then pay for field space while your shiny new facility is empty. |
| Bingo |
The shiny new facility has one field. They’ll have to rent space. |
| TSJ coaches won’t know what to do with all the new space. Sure beats Evergreen postage stamp practices. |
Going from 2 fields at Evergreen to 1 field at TSJ fixes that? How? |
Easy. Spread practices over a longer window. That way you can avoid rush hour traffic too. We can fit everyone in for a 5-9 pm window. |
They are used to sharing one field and now have the added options of the gym and/or weight rooms. Even with 1 field it is an improvement over evergreen. |
You keep telling yourself that when Lacrosse and other clubs and sports also rent the fields. |
Weight room? So they’ll do their rondos around the leg press? |
| Evergreen is for sale. Think they’ll buy Evergreen too? Why not? They seem interested in spending their money on sports entertainment. |
Ohhh, we’re halfway there. Oh oh, living on a prayer |
