Ready-made meal delivery for kids - recs?

Anonymous
Our child just turned one, and we’re looking for recommendations of food delivery services that offer healthy, ready-made, heat and serve meals for kids. Has anyone tried and liked one of the options available for kids?

If you buy frozen meatballs and frozen vegetables at Trader Joe’s you could have many toddler friendly meals that are easy and quick. Also eggs.

OP at age one and once you've settled any allergy questions, your child can start eating what you are eating. Many children of your age eat everything their parents eat (except very spicy foods). What does your child not eat?

Way too salty and fat. Home-cooked is *usually* better.

This. Come on, OP. You do not need to outsource this.

OP here. We may not need to, but we’d like to. We both work a lot, and want to spend our free time hanging out with our kid, rather than cooking (which we’re honestly not very good at). In our rush, we often eat not-so-balanced meals, and we’d like for our child to eat healthier than we do. Any helpful responses from people who have tried a delivery service? TIA!

OP, try Nuture Life. We have used it for our toddler during really insane work periods. It’s expensive but food is tasty and fresh.

Lol? No idea about meatballs but no, frozen veggies are not "way too salty and fat", unless you're buying kinds with sauces etc.

Your one year old should be eating whatever you eat.

Plus, OP is not looking for homemade. She's looking for ready-made, heat and serve. I guarantee anything delivered as ready-to-heat-and-serve will have more fat and salt than frozen meatballs and frozen vegetables.

Nurture Life is pretty good - majority organic ingredients etc and my 6yo and 4yo liked the meals. I tried it for a week when we were super busy .... I like that it has some interesting options I wouldn’t have thought of myself. I wouldn’t mind signing up to get regular 1-2 meals a week from them but I think only option is 5 meals if I understood correctly.
Anyway - def look into Nurture Life!
