I got my DS the H1N1 vax last week, and so far so good (no hives, other reactions, etc.). He is under 2, so he got the shot.
I was wondering - does that mean I am in the clear for the second shot? Has anyone's child had a reaction to the second shot, but not the first? TIA. |
| why do you need second shot? wasn't it stated in media that only one shot is needed? so now it is two again? |

According to the CDC website, two shots are still recommended for those under 9 years old. (links below) But now where can we get it if the DC clinics are done?? We're due for our second round this week.

| Also keep in mind that most other countries use adjuvants, which means their response after 1 dose is higher than ours -- something which likely counted into the WHOs recommendation. |
