Grinding Teeth

DS is grinding his teeth while sleeping after getting his braces and build ups off a of weeks ago. Did anyone else notice this? If your child grinds his/her teeth, how do you manage this?

Night guard. Doesn't he have retainers? If he has tray retainers, those should suffice as bite guards. I have used a night/bite guard for 25 yrs. I now have aligners (trays similar to retainers) and they work as well as a night guard.

You’re right!! Thank you. He’s getting them in two weeks. That will probably do the trick.
