Congestion pricing for DC

Anonymous
This seems like a good idea to keep driving to just those who really need to. I hope it would come along with improved metro operations.

Anyone have experience in other cities where this is done? Did it work?

DC residents who commute into VA for work are a small and nonsignificant portion of the population.

Congress would have to take action. I'm not sure they are functional enough to do that right now.

The biggest recent contributor to traffic in DC is Lyft/Uber. Cities used to control traffic by limiting parking. Now Uber and Lyft have blown up that plan.
Congestion pricing is one way to deal with it.
