Wyndham Sugar Bay in St. Thomas

Family wedding there in 11/2010. Considering renting a villa instead of staying at the resort. We'll have a three year old and a 15 month old. Anyone with kids that age have experience (pros or cons) with the Wyndham? The girls are too young for the kids club. My biggest hesitation is all four of us staying in a 500 sq foot room. Maybe the NYers can do it, but I'm used to space!
