Are electronic scooters prohibited from riding on the sidewalk MD VA DC?

| In DC i think it is legal except in the Central Business District. Just like bikes. But you also need to give pedestrians the right of way on sidewalks. |

It can be if you’re alert to bumps/disjointed, slow for & yield to pedestrians, and recognize that drivers will have a hard time seeing/reacting to you at intersections. It’s the same advice I give people riding bikes on the sidewalk. |
