How good for ASA developmental league?

Considering asking DD if she wants to try out but I don't know how good kids are to be selected.

I assume you are asking about Arlington's ADP program.

Depends on the Age and Sex of the kids. Some years and sexes in Arlington are really strong, some not so strong.

They are a good program for kids who like soccer more than regular rec games. It's not expensive and you get to practice with the professional coach. However, it depends on the team you are assigned, some teams are better than the other. I've seen teams who are good and I've seen whos there for fun.

I though ASA stood for Alexandria Soccer Association, not Arlington

Yes asking about Arlington. What talent level are the players when they’re starting out (7 and 8 years old).

Last year for some age groups they took all kids who tried out. Interest and a little effort was all that was required.

Arlington is the 800 lb gorilla, and most people in DMV naturally think of Arlington when they hear ASA (unless you live in Alexandria).

Alexandria has a good program, just doesn't have the numbers that Arlington does.
