My best friend recently read it and passed it along to me. She desperately wants me to read it because she loved it. It’s not my typical genre and I already have a few books waiting on me, but if it’s worth it, I’ll give it a try. Was it a good read that’ll be worth my time?
Hate to say it but no. There are so many amazing books out there. I wouldn’t call it amazing.
It's a good book. It appealed to me as I'm fascinated by the idea of how little we really know about the people in our lives.
I read it a long time ago. I liked it and it made me think. Not one of my favorite all time books, but entertaining enough that I didn't feel like it wasted my time.
It is an old book, I wonder why this is just coming up now?
Eh, I didn’t really care for it, or any of her other books.
I like it. It's not my usual cup of tea, either. I like non-fiction and detective fiction mostly, but also love Donna Tartt and Wallace Stegner, if that helps.
I liked it but I like all her books. They are definitely an acquired taste though.
|
I really disliked it. As in, I look back on that and Memoirs of a Geisha as my two least favorite books.

So... you think people only read books when they are released? It’s impossible for you to fathom that people could read books written a decade or more ago? |
Pretty good read and a page turner. I read it in about a day when I was in hospital
