| I believe in past years it has gone "live" around now, just curious. |
What do you mean by "live"? You have been able to go online and check your numbers for weeks. And according to the site they aren't going to up date the numbers this year. Not sure if that is true or not. It's all a cluster. I just registered my child in the Specialty program and the online system gives me the same number it did weeks ago. |
|
"If your child is on the wait list, you will receive notification (via US Postal Mail or the email address provided in your application) if a seat becomes available and your child is next to receive a placement.
Placement offers will be made until September 30, 2019. Continuous updates will not be provided. Notifications will be made only when space becomes available. Once your child receives a placement offer your child is automatically removed from the waitlists of any other specialty program selected on the application." |
I think this is the part that I meant. In the past, these initial "raw" lottery numbers that are currently posted would be replaced by "live" results, and the system would be updated periodically as placements were accepted or declined. So you could see how your wait list number decreased over time (or didn't). If I'm reading your response correctly (and re-reading the website) it sounds like this isn't going to happen this year? |
I don't know if they are going to update the numbers as people accept or not but there was a massive delay in getting letters out. I was told that the deadline to accept placement has been pushed back to May 3rd and registration must take place prior to May 17th. IF they are going to update numbers it would be after May 3rd. |
That makes sense. Thanks. |
