Suggestions for nanny / babies social activities

We've started a nanny share in the U Street / Cardozo area. Our nanny is new to the area, and I thought it would be nice for her to attend go to some community baby activities and hopefully make some nanny friends. Does anyone have recommendations?

The babies are both 6 months old if that's any guidance.

I am not in your area, but some things to look into:
Rec center activities, storytimes and other library activists, bookstore/children’s store story times, music class (music together), gymnastics class (mountain kids has a great baby program), the Jewish community center where I am has a ton of baby and toddler activities).

Lemon Tree playgroup is near you. Also the JCC on 16th has baby classes.
