Crabs Feedback

A family we know is moving close to their club and they have kids in middle school and are good lacrosse players. What is the feedback on this club? I recognize they are large with clubs, rec and tournaments but I don't know much more other than the obvious.

Young crabs teams suck. 8th grade fat crab takes over he sucks to. Just knows how yell not coach. Crabs where once the dominant team out there not anymore. To many choices out there. Stay away from MM and 91 also.

Sounds like your kid getting cut or not making a Crab's or 91 team upset you more than him. Life is too short dad, get over it and move on before heart attack number 2.

Just take your little super stars to a tryout, tell them to work their butt's off out there and see what shakes out. If they don't make it the first time, they have something to shoot for. There are options other than Crabs in the area. Unless you're coming from Long Island, lax in b'more is on a whole new level compared to what your boys are used to so it's a great opportunity for them all around.

You must be a crabs dad. No information but lots of chest puffing. JA. I was hoping at least the beginning of a dcum thread would be useful.

Older teams are good and younger teams suck which means program is losing its luster. Got it.

DMV family here with multiple kids who played for a number of programs. It is true younger Crab teams are not as strong talent wise as older teams. And it is true that once stout Crab enters the picture that the yelling and bringing in “guest” players increases. My son’s experience with Crabs was not worth the commute in the end and he is now getting better coaching on a team here in DC.

Forgot guess players the comments on sidelines from parents while their child sits on the bench is priceless. Did fat crab every play lax?

We live in Baltimore and our 8th grade girl lacrosse players says none of the good kids(boys) are on Crabs, instead the perceived top clubs are FCA, Looney's and maybe Breakers for Baltimore area.
