St. Columba Summer Camp for Toddler?

Anonymous
Does anyone on the forum have experience sending their 2 year old to the St. Columba summer camp?

Yes, I would not recommend it. I feel bad for sending my daughter there last summer. I would drop her off and kids would be sobbing and the teacher would not comfort them. The teaching assistants were incredibly young- 10 years old maybe? My daughter said she "did not like it at all" and she is a super outgoing and easygoing kid in general who generally loves playgroup / preschool.

It’s also no longer a full day, or even the full summer. I believe it only goes until 1:30pm or so.

Not sure what camp you went to, but St. Columba's has not used 10 year old teaching assistants. And my kids have enjoyed it. It's a great playground and lovely organized activities.

We went to the tot camp for 8 weeks this past summer (2019). The girls helping out may have been 12 years old at most. I would not call the camp organized at all, I thought the communication was terrible.
