Volkswagen Atlas - ride comfort, back seats.

Anonymous
If you own and Atlas did you ever drive on the back seats? Not the third row, the second. How does it feel? Do you feel any vibrations that feel like they are coming from the wheels or the engine? I found some online reviews complaining but they were for 2018 models. Perhaps that had been addressed on 2019 models?

Oh come on, you know that when I said "drive on the back seats" I meant to ride

We have a 2018. No issues. It’s a great car. We were just saying the other day how happy we are with it and it’s a year and a half old for us.

How easy is it to get to the third row?

Very easy. Lift handle with one hand and it slides back. We have captains chairs.

We don’t have captain chairs - we have the bench in the second row. Still very easy.

Bench does not seem to vibrate, shake and all that as much as captain's seats. However kids don't like the cpt. seats because they claim they are uncomfortable and make them sit rigid whereas the bench are entirely different animal. They also complain that there is nowhere much to put the food, the drinks and the junk and that space in the door is not a solution per them. I love captain's seats and don't like bench because it takes so much room and sucks up all the lovely flow of the air. Also makes it darker.
