| Anyone know anything about this school? It seems like its been around a while but the director is pretty new. |

| I don't know anything from personal experience, but I have several friends who have children that attend the program and are thrilled with it (all the kids are 3). Not sure if that helps, but good luck! |

| St. Columba's nursery had some significant controversy a few years back. Search the threads if you want to read about it. My DS attended Metropolitan about 4 years ago. I thought the teachers were great and the facility is nice. There was not much sense of community or desire for parent involvement, though, if that is important to you. |

I taught at St. Columba's Nursery School with the current director of Metropolitan Nursery School and my son went to school there for 3 years. The "controversy" awhile back at St. Columba's had absolutely nothing to do with Metropolitan's current director. I have heard she is doing wonderful things with the program and all changes are for the best. I had hoped she was going to take over directorship of St. Columba's a few years ago. No such luck
