Mo. Co. beer and wine stores, Rodman's (which one); Paul's; Circle Liquors? Or someplace else? TIA.
Costco
I don't belong to Costco but thanks.
Rodman's on Randolph and Viers Mill.
TJs 2 buck chuck!
For good beer we always go to Rodman's.

I second 2 buck chuck at Treader Joes....if you want variety but not expense and are willing to drive to Baltimore there's an Italian food shop on Pratt Avenue a little past the Lexington Market. They consistenly have various wines with hard to beat prices that can rival TJ's 2 buck chuck selection. I've seen and purchased vino there that I've seen listed twice as much at other stores. |
I have had really good luck going to local wine shops - Arrowine, Curious Grape, even Total Beverage, and asking a salesperson for help. I will tell them what I am cooking and how much I am looking to spend. A good wine shop will not be snooty with regard to price. They know that everyone has different needs and a different budget. They want you to return and will try to steer you in a good direction. Good luck!

Rodmans in Friendship Heights for quality and variety, TJs for quantity.
I haven't been too impressed with Costco's prices or variety. |
I go to Rodman's and Paul's both. Their prices seem similar. I avoid our closest MoCo store. Poor selection and creepy ambiance.
