We are going to be staying somewhere that doesn't have a crib and need to find something to put our 14 month old to sleep in. He still sleeps in a crib at home. We're hoping not to lug our old, heavy pack n play.

ITA on the baby bjorn - we love it, it sets up in a flash, is impossible to tip, and is light and compact when folded up. Only con is the price, but I justified it by planning to having other kids!
Our 20-mo-old was quite content in the PeaPod Plus. It's really compact and light when folded. Whatever you use, be sure to introduce it at home for a few nights before you go on vacation so they can get used to it in a familiar setting.
