Holiday gifts

Anonymous
My sons are 12 and 9, and I am stumped this year.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what they will give their sons at these ages?

Thanks.

I saw a inexpensive gift the other day that I thought about getting my son before I realized he's still a little young ( I secretly wanted it for my self)...it was a book with a few paper airplanes & step-by-step instructions on how to make other planes. I saw it at Costco.

Also, maybe something with a remote control but that can get a little pricey. If you go this route make sure you get something that will work in all types of terrain.

Good luck.

I too have boys those ages--
12 year old- gift cards (clothes, itunes, places like subway where he can go on his own (with friends)), the i-touch was his only bday present this year (he had never had a DS), cooking related stuff as that is his interest right now.

9 year old- snap circuits, new basketball, gear bag for sports, I saw a cool building thing the other day at childsplay but don't remember what it is called, a nice chess set

Thanks; this is very helpful.

My 12yo is very interested in cooking right now too. What cooking-related stuff are you getting for your son?
