Post miscarriage period question

I miscarried at 4 months about 4 months ago, and frankly I'm still mostly a wreck and have no clue if this is the right forum to ask this. That being said I am confused because I had a period about 4 weeks after miscarrying, and nothing since. My last period ended over 2 months ago. Before the pregnancy I was always regular. I have taken many pregnancy tests which all show that I am not pregnant. I'm confused and wondering if this is "normal" for after a miscarriage/d&e.

I’m so sorry for your loss, OP.

My period was erratic (atypical for me) for several months after my chemical/very early MC and returned to normal immediately after my second MC at about 8 weeks. So I think it can vary. That said, if you’re concerned, I suggest making an appointment with your OB. Perhaps there are some things they can test/rule out, or at least provide you some reassurance about what you’re experiencing now.

I am so sorry OP. I just told my husband last night that i feel my miscarriage kind of broke something inside me, so i imagine our 'wreck' state is normal and common.

My period came back normally after mine, so i can't speak to this, but what i can speak to, is feeling comfortable going into your OB. They are so amazing and supportive, and if you dont feel that way, then def find a new one. They can take so much of the wondering and anxiously waiting away with a quick appointment.
