Please tell me who your vitilago specialist is. My DH has it and has had several docs try to treat it. I would really like for him to see someone good.

| The best and most well-known vitiligo specialist in the area (maybe in the country) is Dr. Rebat Halder of Howard University Hospital. It's a pain to trek over there, but he is WONDERFUL and gets excellent results. I don't know if he's taking new patients, but it's worth a try. He's the best. |
| I've had vitilago when i was younger it took me years to get it under control. I was told by drs to avoid the sun and put sunscreen all the time, and i was given a long list of foods to avoid. I remember that oranges lemons tomatoes where on that list. |
| Sorry PP, but your doctors didn't know what they were talking about. Vitiligo is an immune disorder; avoiding certain foods won't make it go away. |
