Outdoor security cameras/lights to install at elderly parent's home

DF lives in a somewhat sketchy rural area, and we want to install some outdoor cameras at several locations around the house. Since he lives far away from us, it would need to be something we could deal with and monitor remotely. Any suggestions?

I just saw an ad for Ring’s outdoor floodlight camera. I don’t know how good it is, but it will probably integrate well with a larger system.
