Posting tabular data

I want to post some data about public school enrollment trends. It is coming from an excel spreadsheet. Is there any way to post it where it maintains column alignment?

Not really. The forum software doesn't understand tabs and spaces will be handled differently depending on users' browsers. You can try importing it to a Google Spreadsheet and then post a link to that.

If you just want to share the numbers and not the functionality, you can take screen shots of the relevant portions and post those using a free image hosting site.
