how many parent coaches can 1 team have

Our U10 team has 4 coaches. How is that possible? It started with 2 and now up to 4 dads who do not seem to really work together. How or why would a club allow this?

because it is free help. It is annoying but our club does it too and there are varying degrees of coaching coming from them.

Sounds like a disaster. Tryouts are in May, just switch clubs.

MSI Classic? It's a step above rec but just barely and most of the teams rely on parent volunteers. I would just be happy you have volunteers. I know a lot of teams had to disband at U10 due to lack of a coach.

It's amazing that, apparently, a number of people on this board don't realize just how light most "professional" coaches in this area are in terms of experience and knowledge of the game.

Is it rec and are they parent volunteers? People do this sometimes to stack a team.

We had this last year in rec and it was awesome. It was just that several parents wanted to hang out with their kids, and they were very useful. (One was the clear 'head' coach and the others fell in line.)
